I should like to express my deepest gratitude for Christian Science, which has been my only help in every need since I began to study it. The truth that man's rightful place is in divine consciousness has been demonstrated by my being in a satisfying place while in college and during the summer vacations. Supply has also been manifested in my college years, although I have had to earn my own way.
One summer I shared my sister's apartment. At first it was difficult to study Science there as much as I desired. However, I made persistent efforts to study whenever possible, and soon a lovely home was purchased by my sister and her husband, though such a purchase had before appeared impossible. The new home included a room for me where I could study undisturbed.
Three day s before I had to enroll for my sophomore year in college, a telegram came telling me that the family for whom I had worked the year before had decided to move to another town. The suggestion came to me to go to another college, where my expenses would be paid; but the privileges of attending a Church of Christ, Scientist, a Christian Science Organization at college, and The Christian Science Monitor Youth Forum were not available there. I realized how dear all these were to me, but the plans and arrangements were made to go to this other college anyway. When the time came for my bus to leave, however, I just could not go.
