Through the years of my study of Christian Science I have so often been comforted, steadied, and healed through the testimonies of healings given in the Journal and in the Christian Science Sentinel that I can no longer refrain from adding mine to the store.
At a time of crisis in health which caused me to resign my position, urgent seeking and praying for a more intelligent concept of God brought me to these words in the ninety-first Psalm (verse 4): "He shall cover thee with his feathers."Soon after I had caught this faint glimpse of the motherhood of God, what, I believe, was the only copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy in that small town found its way into my hands.
For several weeks I rested content in the assurance that there really is a God, as revealed in this wonderful textbook. Then I went to a large city, where I found Christian Science churches, Reading Rooms, and practitioners. With joy I soon identified myself with the Christian Science movement.
