ALLNESS OF GOOD

From the September 1956 issue of The Christian Science Journal

God is good and God is All. Therefore, all is good. Every evidence of good is the natural expression of God, and every right activity the demonstration of His law in operation. This fact is revealed and demonstrated in Christian Science. There is no word more inclusive and descriptive of Christian Science than the little one-syllable word "good." And it is interesting to note that in many languages "good" is the term used for God.

It is impossible to read even a few sentences in the writings of Mary Baker Eddy without being vitally conscious of good and of Mrs. Eddy's emphasis upon the many facets of this quality and of the effects of goodness operating in human consciousness.

Good is infinite in application and demonstration, for God is infinite. Goodness is felt by babes and experienced by the mighty. It is gentle in manifestation, powerful in effect. It is all-embracing and universal. It constitutes the nature and essence of every quality of God and of His reflection, man.
