For the past twenty-four years Christian Science has been a blessing and an unfailing guide in my life. As small children my sister and I attended an orthodox Sunday School fairly regularly; then we became uninterested in attending any more. Our mother asked us if there was another Sunday School we would like to attend. We immediately proposed the Sunday School of a playmate who was a Christian Scientist. I have always been grateful for the love that was expressed in the home of our playmate, for I feel sure it was this love that drew us to the Christian Science Sunday School.
I had always been a very fearful child, and the release from my fears through my attendance at the Sunday School and through my reading of the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, has remained a constant inspiration to me.
For the past fourteen years Christian Science has been the only physician my husband and I have had in raising three children. We have had many healings in our family, including those of measles, pneumonia, mumps, and sprained ligaments. Among the other problems solved have been those of supply, business, human relations, and other conditions too numerous to mention. We have been very grateful for the solutions and for the lessons learned.
