I should like to express gratitude for Christian Science and especially for the healing of an infected foot. The healing was the result of mental surgery, which took place through the operation of Truth, as we understand it in Christian Science.
I wakened one morning with pain and discomfort in my foot. It was swollen and inflamed, and walking was very difficult. A large lump appeared on the top of the foot and increased steadily in size throughout the day. It was not possible to get a shoe on; so I wore a slipper and attempted to go about as usual.
My limp brought inquiries from well-meaning friends, and some expressed fear that serious consequences would result if I did not consult a surgeon. Being a devoted student of Christian Science and having had many healings and blessings in the past through the application of this Science, I did not hesitate to rely completely on the healing power of God. Because there was much fear on the part of friends, I asked the help of a Christian Science practitioner.
