SPIRITUAL BUOYANCY

THE saying, "You can't keep a good man down," expresses a vital truth, for in Christian Science we learn that a good man reflects God, good, who is irrepressible Love, irresistible Life. The qualities of God are reflected in one's consciousness and reveal those spiritual forces that bring forth healing, resurrection, and redemption from all the ills of a weary world.

If one is burdened and sick, he overcomes these errors through understanding his perfect, spiritual nature as the son of God and his eternal oneness, or unity, with God as His image and likeness. In God there is no sickness, sin, or death, and when we demonstrate our oneness with Him, this freedom from error becomes our own.

The healing works of Christian Science are described by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (Pref., p. xi), "They are the sign of Immanuel, or 'God with us,'— a divine influence ever present in human consciousness and repeating itself, coming now as was promised aforetime,
