In the Christian Science Sentinel for February 3, 1951, a testimony of mine appeared, and I am happy to state that all the healings mentioned in it have remained permanent. The sinus trouble and allergy irritations have never returned, and I have, with no harmful results and with no inclination to overweight, continued to enjoy all foods.
When our baby daughter was about twelve days old, it was evident that natural feeding was inadequate. Although I stood alone, faced with the decision of what to do, I relinquished personal responsibility and turned confidently to God, Spirit, as the source of all supply. I knew that His limitless resources have both quantity and quality and that these resources could abundantly meet this little one's need. My radical reliance brought quick and satisfactory results.
Class instruction was my biggest blessing. It came at a time when our financial income and supply were low because of a recent change in my husband's work and the purchase of a home. However, in spite of this problem, I was able to go forward. This was just one of the many proofs that when God opens the way, no opposing power can shut the door on progress. The Bible says (Rev. 3:8), "Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it." I am so grateful that I had class instruction while our daughter is small, for I feel so much better equipped as a mother.
