CREATION IS ETERNALLY ALIVE

From the August 1958 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Life, God, is All-in-all. Therefore all creation—all of God's ideas and identities—must be eternally alive in spiritual perfection. In reality a man or an animal is not a physical form existing outside the Life which is God. Every one of God's creatures is actually a spiritual identity existing in the allness of Spirit.

An idea of God cannot be sick, sinful, or dying. A spiritual idea or identity cannot experience what is not an attribute of the Mind conceiving it. The understanding and application of these truths, as revealed in Christian Science, heal.

Mary Baker Eddy writes in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 79), "Thousands of instances could be cited of health restored by changing the patient's thoughts regarding death." The questions then arise: What are our thoughts regarding death? Do they need changing in the light of Christian Science? As students of this Science, are we not also patients seeking healing and regeneration through the prayerful study and practice of the teachings of the Scriptures, together with those of our Leader's writings?
