GOD'S LAW OF INFINITUDE

From the August 1958 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Infinitude is the very essence of every gift that God gives to man. For instance, God's love is limitless, without beginning and without end. It never gives out, no matter how much or how often it may be expressed. It endures for all eternity.

So it is with all spiritual qualities. They are always at hand in infinite supply to meet every human need. In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy states it this way (p. 249): "God is the infinite, and infinity never began, will never end, and includes nothing unlike God."

God's law of infinitude is omnipresent and all-inclusive. When we demonstrate spiritual facts, this law eliminates that which is not true. In the measure that we accept and apply His law, it is effective for us. This law of infinity is spiritual; it is the irresistible law of Life as opposed to the material belief of death; it is the law of perfect Love, instead of the material concept of love; it enforces harmony, destroying the beliefs of sin, disease, and death. This law of Spirit reveals individual unity with divine Mind and shows man's every thought to be God-given and God-governed.
