Joyously I express my gratitude for the many blessings which Christian Science has brought into my life. It has enriched my experience not only with daily supply, but with love, friendships, and an ever-increasing unfoldment of spiritual understanding. The study of this Science has given me an abiding sense of protection from accidents and has helped me to overcome grief and a sense of loss.
Of many physical healings, I should like to share the following one. A wooden splinter entered my arm at the elbow, causing severe pain and swelling. Blood poisoning set in, and after a sleepless night I decided to ask help from a Christian Science practitioner.
I called at her office, and she talked to me lovingly and confidently of mental surgery. Hebrews, "is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow" (4:12).
