At the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church on June 8 the members listened with deep interest to the reports of the activities and progress of Christian Science throughout the world. Gratitude was expressed for our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, whose God-inspired wisdom led her to establish The Mother Church, with its institutions and branches, which are carrying the message of spiritual blessings and salvation to all mankind.

The meeting opened with the singing of Hymn No. 342, "This is the day the Lord hath made," in the Christian Science Hymnal. The retiring President, , then read passages from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy:
