The teachings of Christian Science have blessed me in all avenues of life since I started its study several years ago. My first healings have been staffs on which to lean. They were very quick, giving me a great sense of freedom as well as a faith that nothing is impossible to God.
I had been under the care of doctors for almost two years with a stomach ailment and had submitted to all types of tests, adhered strictly to all rules and diets; but I was no better and had lost weight.
It was necessary for me to earn my living, and I had taken a business course and was working in an office. Many times I wondered just how long the physical ailment would or could go on and what the outcome would be. My childhood had not been an easy one; but I had many friends, and I wanted to keep active and live, even though at times the pain was most severe and there were no signs of encouragement.
