When I think that many years have passed since I received healings in Christian Science and that only now I am recording my testimony, I wonder why I have waited so long before committing my thoughts to paper.
I was born with my feet twisted, and over a period of seven years I was taken frequently by my parents to the local branch of the cripples' guild for medical attention. When my mother began to see that the prayers of a neighbor who was a Christian Scientist were being answered, she began to study this religion, and I was enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School.
I continued to study Christian Science with the help of a very able Sunday School teacher, and a year later I was running and winning races at school. During that year my feet had become normal. The special shoes recommended for me were discarded, and ordinary shoes were substituted.
