I first studied Christian Science simply from an impersonal, intellectual point of view. I was interested in comparative religions, but had been brought up from childhood to have a great love and reverence for Christ Jesus and his wonderful teachings. It was not long, therefore, before Mrs. Eddy's revelation of Christian Science entirely satisfied my longing for Truth, and I understood that there could be no comparative Truth.
The impact of Science on my thought was tremendous, and to mortal sense I went through difficult times. I can see now, however, that these times only served to promote my growth in Christian Science.
When a dear one passed on and difficult family relationships, false accusations, and financial problems confronted me, I was quickly healed of all resentment through the prayerful work of a Christian Science practitioner.
