Decisions are important. We must watch them carefully. It is well to question our thoughts and our decisions often, to learn whether they are based on the reality of divine Principle, God, good, or on the supposititious opposite, the temporal and unreal, that which seems to be but never is.
Alertness in this watching, even in the minutest detail of our lives, brings its reward in a more harmonious and useful experience. Without qualification and with her usual clarity and preciseness our beloved Leader says in Science and Health (p. 392), "Your decisions will master you, whichever direction they take."
How vitally important, then, that our decisions take the direction that will lead us into the spiritual understanding of God! The only correct decisions are based squarely upon the spiritual facts that God alone is Mind, that man is His image and likeness, eternally governed by Him, and that God is the only intelligence of man and the universe.
