Dear Father, let me learn
The gentle ministry of Life
And Love. Let me discern
The perfect Principle of man
And universe, replete
With heaven's bounty. Let me find
Each lesson joyous, sweet,
Unlabored, reaching unto Thee.
Upon the waiting page
I will inscribe Thy tender law,
Which neophyte and sage
Rejoice to know. Let me divide
Thy Word, by thought aligned
With Truth, to demonstrate aright
The workmanship of Mind.
