Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord" (Isa. 1:18). What a comforting invitation this is to come face to face with our loving Father-Mother, God, and reason out the great truths of being as set forth in Christian Science, in which all is based on the fundamental premise of God's allness and the perfection of His spiritual creation!
In Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy states (p. 109), "I knew the Principle of all harmonious Mind-action to be God, and that cures were produced in primitive Christian healing by holy, uplifting faith; but I must know the Science of this healing, and I won my way to absolute conclusions through divine revelation, reason, and demonstration."
In order to grow in our understanding and ability to demonstrate Christian Science and win our way to absolute conclusions, we have somewhat the same course to pursue as the one followed by Mrs. Eddy, who blazed the pathway before us. We too must search the Scriptures, study and imbibe the spirit of the Christ as set forth in our Leader's writings, and intelligently reason from the premise of all-harmonious Mind-action in order to prove sound in our practice and demonstration.
