Through the study of Christian Science, I have had many wonderful proofs of the omnipresence and omnipotence of Truth. These have included healings of broken bones on two occasions, a discordant ear condition, protection for myself and others in a train wreck, and demonstrations of the power of spiritual understanding to provide a home and supply.
I should like to relate an experience that resulted both in healing and in regeneration of character. Shortly before we were to leave on a trip, our little son began to manifest a skin disease. I telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner for help, and we made the trip as planned. After we returned home, however, the condition continued to grow worse.
My husband, who is not a student of Christian Science, insisted that our child be taken to a pediatrician, who diagnosed it as a severe case of eczema. He said that all he could do was to prescribe special medicated salves, ointments, and soap.
