NOTICES

From the February 1962 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Officers of branch churches and individuals who have occasion to correspond with The Christian Science Board of Directors, with the Clerk and the Treasurer of The Mother Church, and with the heads of departments of The Mother Church Offices are requested to place their addresses on their letters and to write their signatures plainly. Women are requested to use the title "Miss" or "Mrs.," as the fact may be, and to use their Christian names. The cooperation of correspondents is solicited.

The Normal class of the Board of Education was held early in December. In compliance with the By-Law, Article XXX, Section 1, of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, this class convenes on the first Wednesday of December in each third year.

The teacher of the 1961 class was Paul Stark Seeley, C.S.B., of Portland, Oregon. Mr. Seeley has served the movement in many capacities, including those of Committee on Publication for Oregon, President of The Mother Church, Associate Editor of The Christian Science Journal, the Christian Science Sentinel, and The Herald of Christian Science in its several editions, as well as a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship. He has had long experience as a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science.
