In joyful gratitude for all the blessings that have come to me, to mine, and to all through the study and application of Christian Science, I wish to share the following experience.
While I was visiting our daughter and her family in another state, a growth, accompanied by pain and dizziness, appeared behind my ear. I had made arrangements to fly back to attend my association meeting in a city near my home, and the suggestion to postpone the trip was not entertained for a moment.
I clung to the truth of the perfection of God and of man, made in His image and likeness. I was able to stand for short periods; so I started doing the things necessary to be ready for my trip. My daughter became disturbed and asked that she be allowed to call a Christian Science practitioner in a nearby city. I agreed and asked her to tell him the purpose of my trip. He told her to tell me that I had a mission and that he would help me.
