The man who is born of God, Spirit, is ever in heaven, harmony. A glimpse of the spiritual nature of this man opens the gates of heaven. Such a glimpse gives one a new start in life; he partakes of the new birth. How appealing this is to the one who is discouraged or to the one who feels he has not made the most of his opportunities! And the thought that the new birth can mean a harmonious state of being brings great joy to one who is sick.
Each one who now thinks of himself as a mortal will sometime experience the new birth, for when Christ Jesus told Nicodemus he must be born again, he was stating the condition that each of us must fulfill before he can enter the kingdom of God.
One who thinks he was born of the flesh seems to be shadowed by the mortal belief which says (Job 14:1), "Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble." But the man whom God created is forever one with Him and is ever conscious of this oneness.
