"Jesus required neither cycles of time nor thought in order to mature fitness for perfection and its possibilities," writes Mrs. Eddy on page 11 of her book "Unity of Good."
The human scene generally involves thought and time cycles for the maturing and ripening of aspirations. Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, aware of his oneness with the Father, revealed and demonstrated a higher than human law, a spiritual law of the concurrence of supply and demand. There was no delay in his feeding of the multitude, no convalescence for the ten healed lepers, no deferring of normality for the palsied man. Spiritual law, already in operation, was acknowledged by Jesus as being present and able to provide freedom and fruition. Delay, deferred good, and procrastination are aspects of the unreal carnal mind and are neither embraced in nor authorized by the divine Mind.
The humble acknowledgment that God is ever present and the only power brings to human consciousness gleams of reality, of good available, bountiful, and ever present. Christian Scientists the world over are daily invoking spiritual law through prayer which uplifts, regenerates, and enriches human experience.
