Testimonies of Healing

The disciples asked Jesus (John 9:2),...

From the February 1963 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The disciples asked Jesus (John 9:2), "Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?"

"Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him." Jesus' statement was a great comfort to me after I began the study of Christian Science.

Our son was born with club feet. They were placed in casts for eight months, and each week the doctor turned the ankles a little. When the child was old enough to walk, he would stumble and fall when trying to run. The doctor put him in steel braces with special shoes which he was to wear continually. He wore the braces for some time; but he was ill so often and lost so much weight that the family physician asked us to remove the braces. In fact, the child did not seem physically able to wear them.
