One of the first healings that I remember...

From the February 1964 issue of The Christian Science Journal

One of the first healings that I remember occurred when I was a very young child on my way to a Christian Science Sunday School with my sister. A boy on a bicycle knocked me down and ran over my wrist. As I put my hand down on the sidewalk to help myself up, the wrist felt very strange and grated when I tried to move it. My sister and I both looked at the wrist and saw that a bone was out of place and pushing up under my glove.

The words of Hymn No. 267 in the Christian Science Hymnal, which we sometimes sang in Sunday School, came to me and I started to sing,

Our God is All-in-all,
His children cannot fear;
See baseless evil fall,
And know that God is here.
