THE allness of God pervades Mrs. Eddy's revelation of Christian Science. It is the forever fact of being, the reality of all things, the indestructibility of creation. God's allness is the premise upon which we base our demonstrations in Science. On page 275 of Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy writes, "The starting-point of divine Science is that God, Spirit, is All-in-all, and that there is no other might nor Mind,— that God is Love, and therefore He is divine Principle."
The allness of God is perfection, and it is our province to demonstrate this perfection. We could not paint a lovely sunset while holding in thought the image of a tornado. Neither can we demonstrate spiritual harmony and perfection while holding in thought the mortal concepts of evil and matter.
The creator of the universe governs His universe from the lesser idea to the highest idea—man in the image of God, spiritual and perfect. All these ideas are permanent in their individual reflection of Mind and are forever appearing, or unfolding, from their infinite source. The mesmeric illusion of mortal sense inverts this perfect creation, for mortal sense is not a creator and therefore can only ape and reverse the one perfect creation.
