IN absolute Truth all is good, and there is no evil. Christian Science maintains that God is infinite good, creative Mind, the only cause, the sole source of all real existence, which is spiritual, perfect, and complete.
God, supreme good, created man in His own image and likeness and gave him dominion over all the earth. We demonstrate our God-given dominion through understanding and claiming man's eternal unity with the wholly good Mind, God, whom Jesus called "our Father" (Matt. 6:9).
Through the study of Christian Science we learn how to distinguish between the thoughts that are of God, divine Mind, and their evil opposites, claiming to be good. In "Miscellaneous Writings," Mrs. Eddy states (p. 14), "Good is the primitive Principle of man; and evil, good's opposite, has no Principle, and is not, and cannot be, the derivative of good."
