As God directed Moses to speak to the children of Israel that they go forward, so today the same divine voice is impelling His people to go forward into the second century of the Christian Science movement. Armed with the conviction that God is impelling, we are equipped to act in demonstration of His power, following the Christ as our Leader did.
In following the Christ, Mrs. Eddy blazed the trail charted in Proverbs, in wisdom's words, "I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: that I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures."Prov. 8:20, 21;
How did Mrs. Eddy follow Christ? By letting the same Mind be in her which was also in Christ Jesus and by demonstrating its wisdom and power. All who ever would follow the Christ must adhere to this Mind, hold in thought the Christ ideal, and reject all unlike it. As a way mark our Leader tells us what is not in Christ, Truth; also what is in it, when she says, "The real Christ was unconscious of matter, of sin, disease, and death, and was conscious only of God, of good, of eternal Life, and harmony."No and Yes, p. 36;
