Mary Baker Eddy left with her followers an exact Science to be demonstrated by following the rules laid down. She also provided practical means to aid the student in acquiring the necessary spiritual understanding for attaining this end.
I can never be grateful enough for membership in The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, and for activity at different times as a member of three different branch churches. Church activity stands out to me as one of the important factors in aiding me in spiritual growth, in understanding better the things of the Spirit.
