From the November 1969 issue of The Christian Science Journal

In order to assist branch churches and societies to carry the healing message of Christian Science to their communities more effectively, The Mother Church makes a number of speakers and audio-visual programs available to the Field. While The Mother Church wants to do whatever it can to assist its branches in communicating the healing message of Christian Science, it does not want to burden the members with too many special meetings. Each branch church is responsible for scheduling its own meetings. Each branch must decide, in the light of local conditions, how many meetings to hold, the best times for holding them, and what degree of necessity or interest merits the calling of a particular kind of meeting. As a proper balance of meetings is achieved, the message will be communicated more effectively.

You will face three great challenges of our day—Law, Order and Justice; Understanding Youth; and Brotherhood and Racial Harmony—when you see this perceptive, inspiring 16mm color film, which was shown in the Extension of The Mother Church on June 4, 1969. In the film, excerpts from interviews with leading public servants—none of whom are Christian Scientists—present the issues in plain terms. Experienced Christian Scientists then take up these major problems in the talks that follow and point out the relevance of Christian Science to the solving of them. The result is a deeply moving viewing experience.
