The conscientious Christian, loving God and man, feels responsibility for his less fortunate brother. He yearns to help him war against and overcome his enslaving limitations and sufferings. This righteous desire is prayer. A right answer is inevitable. The individual comes to understand that the true way to help is through scientific, right thinking. He learns that he must look beyond the false, mortal concept of his brother and see his true, spiritual selfhood as the beloved, cared-for child of God. This loving, Christlike understanding is a power for good. It blots out sin and heals sickness, lack, and conflict. It is the way of victory over all ungodliness.
Christian warfare is not new. It is the way Christ Jesus healed. His understanding of man as the perfect image and likeness of God, Spirit, was manifested in his ability to heal and harmonize persons and situations. This Science of the Christ is again being understood and successfully practiced today. Christian Scientists are understanding and demonstrating to some extent the omnipresence and omnipotence of God, good, and the innate unreality and powerlessness of evil. Here is Christian warfare.

Truth is openly challenging error to an extent not known since the days of Christ Jesus and the apostles. Since the coming of the Master's promised Comforter, Christian Science, the laws of God have been in a considerable degree understood and demonstrated in human experience by thousands of grateful students.
