Christian Science has assisted me in meeting many business challenges.
Eight years ago we were living in a section of the country popularly known as the beautiful subtropics. I had a good position, and outwardly we could not hope for better living conditions. However, for over a period of two years I did not have a feeling of satisfaction or accomplishment in my work. As a student of Christian Science, I sought my answer in a more concentrated study of the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Since our working and living conditions were so ideal, I felt that any adjustment would certainly come about without changing positions or leaving the area. However, no improvement seemed apparent, even after two years.
Prior to my annual three-week vacation, my wife and I agreed to forgo our usual travel and instead to devote these weeks at home to more concentrated study and prayer with a view to finding an answer to my desire for greater fulfillment in my employment. In this study we sought to remove all personal planning and to be led to do the highest right.
