In the book of Revelation there is a triumphant declaration of complete victory: "Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony."Rev. 12:10, 11;
It is interesting to note that this supreme success follows the defeat of evil in its attempt to nullify the revelation of the Christ. In this account, the devil, Satan, is given the name of accuser— "which accused them before our God day and night." The accuser assumes many names, aspects, and phases, but it is only that which would claim to deny God and resist the power of the Christ.
In the picture that the material world is presenting to us today it would seem that the accuser is having strong sway. Nations are accusing other nations, races are accusing other races, one generation is accusing another generation, each champion of its own cause accuses the champions of opposing causes.
