MAN'S SPIRITUAL HABITATION

John 1:38,39

From the March 1971 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"Master, where dwellest thou?"
The Master's quick response
to this direct inquiry
was the Christly invitation,
"Come and see."
As if he had said—
implicitly,
"If you would discern
true consciousness,
man's spiritual habitation,
follow me."

To follow the Christ
is to become aware
of man's spiritual status
as God's son and heir—
to learn of one's true identity.
And that this Christly man
is, in reality,
each one—you and me;
and we are the eternal dwellers
in the heavenly kingdom
of His all-inclusive
infinity.
