Spiritual Intuition

From the May 1971 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"Thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left." Isa. 30:21; Countless individuals who have read this Biblical promise have longed for that kind of definite, spiritual intuition to guide them in their human affairs.

The parent, for instance, reaches for intuitive insight to say the right thing at the right time. The businessman needs guidance in making decisions and working out fair and harmonious relationships. The young person is confronted with far-reaching choices of companionship and career. The homemaker, the scholar, the soldier, all have constant need for the kind of intuition that truly directs the individual to speak and act wisely.

The teachings of Christian Science, the Science of Christ, or Truth, reveal the source of spiritual intuition to be the one Mind, God. Divine Mind's wisdom, judgment, and insight are available to man, who is the offspring, the image and likeness of God, His reflection.
