"Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy" (Ps. 107:2).
In November, 1931, my testimony appeared in The Christian Science Journal. In 1936, I was suddenly stricken with almost total deafness. This seemed very disturbing and hampering to me because I had always had a very keen sense of hearing. I now felt as though a dense wall of silence had closed in around me. I wrote to my teacher in Christian Science and asked for help, which she gave me through prayer. In two weeks I was healed, not only of the deafness but also of warts on my hands. My gratitude for these healings increases as I grow in understanding Christian Science.
A few years ago I began losing my hair and seemed to be getting bald. I wrote to a friend who is a listed practitioner of Christian Science. Through her understanding prayers the condition was healed. Since then more than one beautician has commented on the quantity of hair on my head.
