One of Mary Baker Eddy's many positive statements in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures on the deathlessness of life is: "Life is eternal. We should find this out, and begin the demonstration thereof. Life and goodness are immortal."Science and Health, p. 246
Christian Science shows that man's existence is eternal because he lives and has his being in God, who is infinite Life; that man expresses all the qualities of Life in endless being.
The way leading to the demonstration of eternal life is not a broad highway, as Christ Jesus pointed out. He said: "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matt. 7:13, 14 Narrow but sure, it leads to life, and life and goodness are endless.
