Eddy, has written (Poems, p. 79):
It matters not what be thy lot,
So Love doth guide;
For storm or shine, pure peace is thine,
Whate'er betide.
I had an opportunity to prove the truth of these words six weeks before I left my country to take Christian Science class instruction. What occurred would have hindered me in taking this step, but the voice of the healing Christ, Truth, was louder than every human belief, and God showed me the way.
