You Can Help Your Church Grow!

If you are a member of a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, what do you want most for your church? A steady flow of newcomers? Wednesday testimonies that heal? Financial abundance? Inspiring business meetings? Ardent church workers?

These are all concrete possibilities for every branch church, and in practical ways we can help our church attain them. But what we truly need most for our church is to glorify God through the vigorous, visible demonstration in our community of "Church" as defined by Mrs. Eddy in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health: "The structure of Truth and Love; whatever rests upon and proceeds from divine Principle.

"The Church is that institution, which affords proof of its utility and is found elevating the race, rousing the dormant understanding from material beliefs to the apprehension of spiritual ideas and the demonstration of divine Science, thereby casting out devils, or error, and healing the sick."
