The Changeless Nature of Health

From the June 1975 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." Mal. 3:6;

This statement is relevant to humanity today and throughout all time. It speaks with the authority and promise of spiritual power. This power, divine Truth, destroys disease, and when we understand something of its nature and operation we can prove we are in sound health. Health is an eternally established spiritual fact of being and is intact in man. Man, God's idea or reflection, includes all that is good. We need to know this truth in order to help ourselves to better, more enduring health.

Health is sustained by God, divine Life, and belongs to each one of us in our true nature as an individual spiritual expression of Life. Each idea includes health as a condition of his being. Health, as it is understood and demonstrated in Christian Science, is a spiritual condition of constant harmony, not an unpredictable fluctuating state of physicality. "Health is not a condition of matter, but of Mind," Science and Health, p. 120; Mrs. Eddy writes in Science and Health. It appears naturally, uninterruptedly, purely, freely, wholly, and changelessly from its infinite divine source, God.
