With sincere gratitude for Mrs. Eddy's spiritual discernment and dedicated life, I once again testify to the many blessings that her teachings have brought me. The most important blessing has been a clearer realization of the tremendous depth of God's love for all, and how His wisdom is ever available to guide us into a fuller life.
I am grateful to have been shown that there is always at hand a right idea which will solve every difficulty, if only we are mentally quiet and expectant enough to receive it, then unreservedly acknowledge its power and apply it. This was proved to me in the competitive world of business. Thus, once in take-over negotiations, what looked to be a complete deadlock was resolved by quite a new idea after negotiations had totally broken down. Despite that impasse I had still clung doggedly to a truth I had been given, namely, that there was but one Mind governing all. The liquidator returned with a new idea of obvious value, which eventually settled the deal; over the years it proved to have truly blessed all involved—even those disappointed at the time.
I am grateful for the Christian Science practitioner who urged me to live by the truth that God is man's only Mind. This has helped me over the years to overcome many errors, including beliefs that advancing years restrict one. I enjoy excellent health and vigor through claiming that God's eternal perfection is expressed in man. This is not to say that challenges do not arise, but by my steadfastly refusing to give them reality in thought, they dissolve into nothingness. This has happened more quickly when I have filled thought with gratitude to God for Christ Jesus, the Exemplar, and for Mrs. Eddy, who gave us this demonstrable Science of the allness of God, good.
