What Price Glory?

From the February 1977 issue of The Christian Science Journal

"Who did sin . . ." his disciples asked Jesus concerning the blind man, "that he was born blind?"

"Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents," Jesus answered, "but that the works of God should be made manifest in him."John 9:2, 3;

Then Jesus healed the man, and God was glorified. For the man received more than material vision; his thought was opened to the Christ. Despite what it cost him (even his parents refused to acknowledge the healing Truth), he stood firm, willing to pay the price of being considered different, of being cast out for accepting Christ, Truth. Are we as willing?
