Christian Science resolved a relationship problem for me in business. A reconciliation was brought about through the recognition of infinite Love, and through the Christ-power embodied in this recognition.
Some years ago while I was working in a large marketing organization, I had constant trouble and noncooperation from an executive who was supposed to provide me with results of various national sales-promotion schemes for incorporation into reports for the directors. We had no control over this executive, who worked for another branch of the company, but his lateness, insufficient information, and hatred made it very difficult to present proper reports, and I was being severely criticized by the directors, who were not at all interested in the difficulty of my position.
It became so bad that I just had to get down to pray for adjustment of the situation in Christian Science. I felt impelled to study the marvelous article in Miscellaneous Writings by Mrs. Eddy entitled "Love Your Enemies." There she writes (p. 8): "Can you see an enemy, except you first formulate this enemy and then look upon the object of your own conception? What is it that harms you? Can height, or depth, or any other creature separate you from the Love that is omnipresent good,—that blesses infinitely one and all?"
