My last testimony appeared almost thirty years ago in an issue of the Christian Science Sentinel. The healings mentioned have proved permanent.
In March, 1964, I was living in Alaska at the time of a major earthquake, and was wonderfully sustained during those trying times.
I learned much from the following healing. On Saturday morning, July 4, 1964, I tried to move a heavy plank in my backyard. In the attempt I dropped it on my foot. The pain was intense, but I quickly denied all thoughts of accident, recalling what Mrs. Eddy says on page 424 of Science and Health: "Accidents are unknown to God, or immortal Mind, and we must leave the mortal basis of belief and unite with the one Mind, in order to change the notion of chance to the proper sense of God's unerring direction and thus bring out harmony.
