When I was a child, I would help my father, a farmer, gather the harvest each year. This gathering gave him an abundant supply to provide for our family, feed the animals, and share with our neighbors. When spring arrived again, he had plenty to sow because he had collected various kinds of seeds.
In a much-loved prayer, "'Feed My Sheep,'" Mrs. Eddy helps us turn to our Father-Mother God:
