Control—resting squarely on Mind

From the December 1979 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The media report to us on a world whose governments and economies often seem out of control—a world in disorder.

Christian Science denies the validity of this dismal picture. It declares the insubstantiality of what appears to be material life and intelligence, and proclaims the allness of God, good. It reveals the universe of Spirit, in which the divine Mind controls all things in harmony.

In the actuality of being, there is but one Mind governing, and man is the idea of this Mind, reflecting God's dominion over the entire spiritual creation. Since the truth of all things is included in the Mind that is God, it is by understanding one's own unity with the divine consciousness that one can gain the true view of the universe and man.
