"Church growth is growth in understanding," by Namoi Price, appears in the Church in Action section on page 190.

Truth underpins what reveals Truth

From the March 1979 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Can we enjoy concrete certainty that worthwhile things we try to do are supported in some way? That we're not alone in our efforts? Surely.

The answer is found in spiritualizing our sense of existence. Christian Science melts any fogginess hiding what life is really all about. Whatever is good comes from God, it says, and whatever comes from God is universal and omnipresent.

This may sound simplistic. Even simple-minded. But its implications are cosmic, its truth demonstrable. The Christian Science approach is not a bizarre head-in-the-sand escapist philosophy but is based on solid, divine law.
