My name is Matthew Hulen. I am eleven years old and in the sixth grade. I would like to tell you what happened to me during one spring break.
I was home, blowing some pin darts through a straw, and I wanted to see how far I could shoot one. So I took a deep breath. But the dart went down my throat. [A pin dart is a long straight pin.]
I began to cough blood but the dart didn't come up. Then I started to say "the scientific statement of being" to myself [see Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 468]. Soon after this, my dad walked in the house from work.
