To identify oneself with the Church of Christ, Scientist, is to unite with a mighty Cause. Each of us can be in this vanguard of thought, recognizing our growing role in its holy mission.
What is the Cause of Christian Science? Simply stated, it is God's loving provision for the establishment of the Comforter promised by Christ Jesus. This final revelation of Truth is firmly and permanently instituted in our time, thanks to the discovering and founding of Christian Science by its God-inspired Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
Putting it another way, we can say that the discovering of this Comforter is here today as Christian Science, and the founding of this Comforter is here today as the Church of Christ, Scientist. Its sole mission is the healing and redemption of all mankind from sin. This oncoming spiritual era is predestined. Christian Science cannot be touched by negation from within or without the ranks of Christian Scientists. Nor can ignorant apathy and indifference, bitter disdain and opposition, stop its forward thrust.
