An announcement in last April's Journal explained that The Christian Science Monitor regional sales offices have been opened, or expanded, in Boston, New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco. The purpose is to support increased advertising and circulation sales efforts for the Monitor in North America. We thought you'd like to know more about the circulation aspect of this expansion and how it relates to the branch church periodicals support activities.
Recently four Regional Circulation Managers have been employed, one in each of the cities mentioned above. Each manager will train and develop approximately 25 Subscription Sales Representatives within his or her particular region.
These "Subscription Reps" have agreed to devote at least 20 hours a week to selling subscriptions for the Monitor. Each representative will have a large territory.
