In Job we read (21:15), "What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?" Tremendous gratitude wells up in my heart to answer that question. Since I was three years old I've been blessed with a multitude of proofs that God answers every earnest prayer.
My dad became a student of Christian Science when I was about three, and he asked my mother to consider taking up the study of this Science. She wasn't interested at all. But a year later my baby sister broke out in blisters all over her body. Mother was very frightened and took her to a doctor. He said he had no idea what the trouble was and could do nothing for the child. So Mother went home and called a Christian Science practitioner for help through prayer. He said he would pray for the child, and my mother put her to bed for her nap. Two hours later Mother found her awake, happy, and completely spotless. After this healing my parents enrolled all of us children in the Christian Science Sunday School.
There were many wonderful healings down through the years in our family of six children. At seven I was healed of typhoid pneumonia. (I told of this healing in a previously published testimony.)
